Yoga for
back pain.

Most back pain isn’t about weakness alone — it’s tight hips, a deconditioned core and a nervous system stuck on alert. This program works on all three.

Why this works

If mornings start stiff and sitting makes it worse

A back that hurts changes everything — how you sleep, sit, lift your child, get through a workday. Painkillers quiet the signal but never the cause. A consistent, intelligent practice rebuilds the support your spine has been missing, gently and progressively.

What this program combines

The right practices, working together

How each part helps

Nothing in the mix is there by accident

Every practice in this program targets a specific piece of the picture. Together they cover what a single class never could.

  • Asana. Targeted, careful strengthening for the core, glutes and spine — the muscles that hold you upright all day
  • Yin Yoga. Long, passive holds release the tight hips, hamstrings and lower back that pull the spine out of line
  • Meditation & Pranayama. Breath and relaxation calm an over-protective pain response, so the body stops bracing
Yoga for You
Supportive practice, not a medical treatment. Yoga complements your healthcare — it doesn’t replace it. For a diagnosed condition, please practise alongside your doctor’s advice.
Good to know

Questions, answered

Is this safe if I have a disc issue or old injury?
Tell Dipika before you begin and she’ll guide modifications. Classes are gentle and progressive — never forced — but yoga is not a substitute for medical care, so check with your doctor for a diagnosed condition.
How soon might I feel a difference?
Many students feel looser and calmer within the first week. Lasting change in strength and stiffness builds over consistent weeks of practice.
Do I need any equipment?
Just a mat and a little floor space. A cushion or block helps for some Yin poses but isn’t essential.
