What is Yoga Nidra?

Sleep's wiser,
more healing cousin.

Often called 'yogic sleep', Yoga Nidra is a guided practice you do lying completely still. Following the voice, your body relaxes layer by layer until it reaches a state of conscious rest — awake, yet as restored as deep sleep.

There is nothing to get right. No flexibility, no effort, no experience needed. For the exhausted, the anxious, the chronically wired — it's the simplest and most generous thing you can give yourself all week.

Honest answers

Before you lie down

Is it okay if I fall asleep?
Completely. Many people drift off, especially at first — your body clearly needed it. Over time you'll learn to rest in that threshold state where the deepest restoration happens while staying gently aware.
When is the class?
Live every Saturday, 7:10–7:30 AM IST. Just twenty minutes — and you simply lie down and listen.
Do I need to do anything?
Nothing but lie comfortably and follow Dipika's voice. There are no postures, no effort. It's the easiest practice to do and the hardest to believe is doing so much.
Can it really replace sleep?
It doesn't replace sleep, but a single round is famously restorative — often described as feeling like a deep nap in a fraction of the time. It's a gift for anyone running on empty.

Rest like you mean it.
